About Earth Aesthetics
Woman owned, and most of the time women operated: we are your garden detailers.
We provide expert rose care, boxwood management, corrective pruning, and thoughtful stewardship of both formal and natural landscapes. Our designs emphasize native and edible plantings and working with nature in order to create art. By learning the unique rhythm of your landscape, we craft a customized annual plan that cultivates enduring health in every season.
Earth Aesthetics is devoted to empowering women from every walk of life—helping them learn a trade, gain financial stability, and provide for their families with confidence and dignity. We foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world by illuminating the quiet connections that often go unseen, inviting others to be reminded of both resilience and belonging through the land.
We recognize that one of the greatest challenges women face today is the expectation to be both mothers and providers. In response, we have committed ourselves to realizing a vision we call the Full Circle Sanctuary—a holistic, supportive model built upon three essential pillars: income, housing, childcare- and community. Our temporary housing project serves as a safe haven for mothers rebuilding their independence after experiences of domestic abuse. In conjunction, a nature-based childcare program will be designed to support Earth Aesthetics employees and members of our wider community. This program will offer full-day care during active working hours, ensuring that no mother must choose between earning a living and keeping her children safe.
Until we can finish our treehouse-style cabin, we continue to work closely with women as they reclaim their autonomy and move forward from cycles of domestic violence. If you have available housing or rooms and would like to be part of our network of supporters, please contact us. Lack of safe, private housing remains the most critical barrier for women in crisis; accessible childcare during working hours is the second. Your support truly matters. 💗
In further service to our community, any surplus produce—offered with permission from the gardens we steward—is shared through our onsite Little Free Pantry for anyone in need. Produce that is past its prime is given to our chickens, who return the gift in the form of fresh eggs, which are likewise shared with community members. Earth Aesthetics alongside our sister nonprofit, The Backwoods, provide access to fresh produce, eggs, children’s clothing, and other meaningful necessities that lighten the daily load for families in transition. Seasonal container change-outs are returned to our property, tended with care, and put up for adoption (for a small adoption fee to make sure they will be going to good homes😜) . All proceeds directly support the ongoing work and future goals of the Full Circle Sanctuary.
Thank you, deeply, for your support and belief in this mission.
Meet Sarajoy
It took me many years to understand how I was meant to serve this Earth, even though the answer had been quietly accompanying me all along. I explored widely—double majoring in art and sustainable agriculture, founding a nonprofit centered on art and sustainability, and searching through every artistic niche that might satisfy my hunger for purpose. Yet despite a lifelong bond between my hands and the soil, I never once considered that landscaping might be the path waiting patiently for me.
In 2018—ten years into that search—a light finally came on. I enrolled in my first Permaculture Design course and committed myself to transforming my love for the earth’s flora into a dedicated, intentional career.
I now hold a Permaculture Design Certification, a South Carolina Landscape Professional Certification, a North Carolina Applicator’s License, and a certificate in Landscape Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. But beyond formal study, most of my true education has taken place in the field—through careful observation, long research rabbit holes, trial, error, and the unending curiosity that nature so generously inspires.
I hope to continue learning in this way for the rest of my life, guided by the land as my most patient teacher, while also pursuing further formal training as I am able. My greatest hope is to use what I learn to serve my community in meaningful and lasting ways.
I am profoundly blessed with an extraordinary son, to whom I dedicate this life. It is my wish to show him—through my own journey—just how far a dream, tended with care, can grow.
How do I believe I can help you?
My work is guided by a handful of simple, enduring goals:
To cultivate deeper beauty in every landscape through kind, thoughtful plant care—proper pruning, attentive soil stewardship (whether improving your soil or working gracefully with what you have), and responsible pest and disease management.
To work in partnership with our ecosystems, honoring the rhythms and relationships already present.
To design and implement regenerative landscapes that nourish people, wildlife, and soil—while teaching others to recognize the edible abundance that may already be growing at their feet. (You may never look at a “weed” the same way again.)
To invite creativity back into the garden, opening new ways of seeing and imagining what is possible.
To help create a world worth inhabiting—and passing on, one landscape at a time, enriched with intention, wonder, and care.
Wherever you are in your understanding of plants or gardening, I would be honored to bring my craft to your space. With attentive, knowledgeable care, your landscape can reveal a beauty that may already be waiting beneath the surface.
Rather than pouring money into harsh chemicals or generic, short-term solutions, invest in practices that heal your immediate environment and allow your garden to thrive for years to come. I’m here to help you do exactly that.
Thank you.
What people are saying.
“Sarajoy is dependable and easy to work with on a project. She has a knowledge of plants that is useful in garden design. If you happen to be away when your garden needs maintenance you can be assured that Sarajoy will show up as scheduled and complete the required services as requested. Highly recommend.”

“For the home gardener who enjoys working on their own landscaping, loves to learn, and occasionally needs help with new techniques for fertilizing, pruning, and weed and bug control, contact Sarajoy Booth!
She has studied landscape design and problem-solving in the garden for many years and is excellent at explaining what you need to know to beautify your yard and garden. I asked Sarajoy to help me learn how to hand-prune my bushes to make them healthier. Her technique works!"
